Golden Hour Artists
Daniel Lehmann
Daniel Lehmann, Golden Hour's co-founder, was born into a photography family. His father, renowned photographer Yoram Lehmann, began his career working for Richard Avedon and later taught and directed the photography department at a prominent university in Israel. Born and raised in NYC, Daniel traveled throughout the world with his parents and would often observe his father on shoots. At a young age, Daniel could be found with a camera around his neck, taking pictures wherever he went. Throughout his professional career, which spanned from advertising to sports marketing, technology, retail, design and real estate, his passion for photography remained. In 2014, after frequent trips to the west coast, Daniel followed his heart and moved to Los Angeles with his wife (Michelle) and two kids (Jake and Sophia). He spends lots of time outdoors and in nature - hiking with his dogs Cali and Ruby, mountain biking, and relaxing at the beach - and loves capturing the effects of light on objects and landscapes in his photography.
Molly Tuttle
Molly Tuttle is a graphic artist whose designs and illustrations are intuitively inspired by her native California roots. From the psychedelic poster art of the 1960s to the SoCal beach culture of the 1970s, these influences are evident in her modern designs that evoke a fun and positive energy.
In the first pair of our Golden Hour Canyon Poster Series, Molly has captured the unique mirrored vistas of the heart of Laurel Canyon. The yellow VW Bug is the key hint to understanding the different perspectives of the same scene from the two opposite points of view. One from Laurel Canyon Blvd looking toward the infamous Canyon Country Store and the other from the top of the Tavern Trail stairs looking down upon the Store rooftop and across at the Kirkwood Bowl.
